Michael Jackson Tribute Concert; First Acts of Line-up revealed

12 Aug

Being held in Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium, the tribute concert of Michael Jackson is set to involve the “greatest acts” from around the globe.

The first few acts were revealed this morning, and fans are now preparing to register for tickets. JLS, Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green and Smokey Robinson are all on the bill so far, but Chris Brown, Justin Bieber and Bruno Mars are said to have “respectfully declined” according to TMZ.

Fans wanting to attend the concert will have to be willing to part with some serious cash, though. The best seats in the middle tier are £240 each, while the best standing tickets cost £195.

Standard middle and upper-tier tickets are £175 and £137, and the more restricted standing tickets are £97. Standard seats are £87 – and even seats with a restricted view are £55.

Tickets are yet to go on sale on the ‘Michael Forever’ website. Organisers said they wish for “fans to know who they’re registering to see” before parting with their hard-earned cash.
